We are still researching a privacy-compliant technique to notify users of which apps are causing the alerts. This has proven to be a great challenge, and we have not been successful in a resolution at this time.
We purposely do not keep track of the apps installed on a user's device, so there are technical challenges associated with implementing this capability in a manner which is both compliant with App Store rules and respective of user privacy.
If you are a subscriber to Guardian Pro, some users are able to get an idea of which App seems to be triggering an alert by enabling real-time Push Notifications for Alerts. This feature will show a push notification as soon as an alert is triggered. If you have all other apps closed on your device and background activity/update is turned off for all apps, you may be able to open one App and notice if alerts are immediately triggered or not. This is not 100% accurate as many Apps might have permission to run in the background, but this offers a general idea of what is happening on your device as well as how often Guardian is blocking trackers.
This is one of the most requested features that we are diligently working on a way to implement so that there are no questions of the privacy of our users.
