How can I set up trusted networks?
Designate specific networks as “trusted”.

The “Trusted Network” feature allows our users to designate specific networks (such as your home or office Wi-Fi) as “trusted”. These are more commonly private networks and it is not recommended to add a public WiFi connection as a “trusted network.”

When your device is connected to the networks in your Trusted Network list, the VPN will be disabled allowing the device to connect to the internet without the use of the VPN. If the device is no longer connected to a network that is not designated as a “trusted network” the VPN connection will be enabled automatically ensuring your internet connection is routed through the VPN tunnel.

To set up Trusted Networks in the Guardian App please follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Guardian Settings > Advanced > Trusted Networks
  2. Add Trusted network SSID
  3. Enable “Disconnect On Trusted Networks”

If you need further assistance in setting up Trusted Networks please contact technical support from Settings in Guardian.
